Brent oversees the equity capital markets group for Peachtree Group, including strategy, operations and investor relations.

He joined Peachtree in 2012 and was previously responsible for sourcing real estate investment opportunities for Peachtree and its affiliates, including acquisitions, lending and management.Brent has participated in more than $3.0 billion of real estate transactions across the enterprise since joining the company in 2012.He has close to 30 years of hospitality experience, having launched hotel brands and completing complex real estate transactions with the largest hotel operators and real estate developers in the U.S.

Before joining Peachtree, he was in a senior leadership position for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, where he was instrumental in launching lifestyle-branded Aloft and Element hotels. Brent also led the expansion of Westin, Sheraton, Luxury Collection, Le Meridien and Four Points brands along the West Coast.Before that, he was vice president of franchise development for La Quinta Companies, where he established a record-setting franchise program and launched the Baymont Inn & Suites franchise program.Brent holds a business degree from Southeastern Louisiana University.
