Jose Torres
Jose Torres is responsible for leading the firm's portfolio management function across its credit, equity, and operating verticals. He brings more than a decade of experience spanning underwriting, portfolio management, compliance, and technology across institutional real estate investment platforms.
Previously, Jose held senior roles at Savanna, a New York City based real estate private equity and investment management firm, where he served as Director of Portfolio Finance, as well as the firm's CCO and CTO. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Square Mile Capital Management and was part of the multifamily development team at USAA Real Estate (now Affinius Capital) in Texas. Before entering commercial real estate, Jose served eight years on active duty in the United States Army, completing multiple overseas deployments and serving as a company commander before achieving the rank of Captain.
Jose holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA in Real Estate Finance from Columbia Business School.
